There are no jobs here. I can't believe I'm writing a 'no job' bitch, but really, it is alarming how few postings there are for upper-level positions since September. It is disappointing and sad. With over 5 years of experience and 2 advanced degrees, I haven't had an interview in 3 months. I don't want to work retail. I'm too smart and educated and innovative to work retail. But that's all there is. That, and call centres. And used car salesmen. I committed to staying in my home province and now I regret it. If we have a defeatist culture here, there's a good fucking reason why. I'm going to have to leave to make it. —How Sad
