I've worked and continue to work in the service industry, smiling isn't a "must", but for the past year I have not seen you smiling at all when you serve me or anyone else for that matter. Clearly you don't like what you do or are having a bad year and need to get out of your rut. To be honest, you're kinda bringing me down. I enjoy having a few beers in your establishment, but I cringe at the thought of you serving me. The other thing is, I can't not tip you, I've worked as a server/bartender for years and for me not to tip, the service must truly be horrible.
So, if you would, please allow me to give you a bit of advice. Try treating your customers with a bit of mutual respect, making more of a concentrated effort to take pride in what you do, look happy at work and I'd more than happy to tip you more. Or don't! You could keep doing what you've been doing, clearly it works for you. That attitude's got you this far right? —Pity Tipper
