Tedium Personified
The councillors are debating such earth shattering matters as; code of conduct, dog by-laws and my favourite, put forth by Gloria, renaming HRM to possibly Greater Halifax. These folks make $76,000 and the current owner of the fancy chain makes $146,000.
I think there are issues of far greater importance to the taxpayers than this. Crime is still a big concern, public transit, downtown upgrades, and a host of other matters. Downsizing to 16 isn't enough, get the shears out and do some drastic pruning. —Ed
