In three weeks from today, my precious little girl will start school. She is beyond excited, and ready for school. I am stressed out and frustrated. Not for the fact that she is starting school - I am very excited for her. I am stressed out & frustrated due to the fact that I have to drop about $300 for school supplies, clothing, 2 pairs of sneakers, admin fees, and this is all before I try to wrap my brain around buying ONLY nut-free snack foods and lunchs made with NO PEANUTS. Here's my beef, lunch food is expensive, regardless, but now I have to go out and buy only nut-free snacks (and non-name brand snacks don't have the little 'nut free' symbol on them) and have to figure out lunches. She can't take her fav, PB&J, and who wants to be the kid eating tuna in the cafeteria? Which means lunch meats... lunch meats are fucking expensive. There's no microwave, so there goes soups, etc. So, to recap, supplies, clothing, multiple pairs of shoes, and name brand snacks to accommodate the nut-free policy.
