First, welcome to Canada. Congrats on choosing to move to our great country and celebrate our nation's birthday. BUT you should learn that you cannot claim to have reserved a 12 foot by 12 foot section of the downtown Halifax boardwalk for your family of four at 8pm and then start lecturing people who start gathering nearby for the fireworks to sit down. Telling us to "Sit down. My children want see first Canada Day firework" and "You rude. My family no see. You sit now." Who the fuck do you think you are? Everyone around you was rolling their eyes and then just began ignoring you. Even after the fireworks started you continued babbling in some foreign language and pushing people so your kids could get a better view. Unless Immigration forgot to tell you, leave your rudeness at the border, or purchase a one-way ticket. —Proud Canadian
