I am looking forward to leaving a "city" laid out for horse and buggies, that is filled with drivers who are doing anything but watching the road, 20 something girls dressed like whores, young men with their heads up their ass dressed like gangsters, adults acting like cousin Cletus in from the country partying it up in their arrested development glory.

A big thanks to the slumlords and lazy homeowners who think it's okay to not clear or salt the walkways in front of their houses. Pride, it's pretty hit and miss.

Halifax progressive? HA... we still have human waste floating in our harbour, a bastion of academic purists who think saving termite invested fishing shacks is how we maintain our heritage. Heritage built on subjugation of an indigenous people, herding the black community into geographically challenging locales and maintaining a cute, homespun persona, decked out in a fucking kilt, a pair of rubber boots and a sou'wester to welcome tourists to our quaint province. A province filled with suspect natives, many who still hold their racist values steadfast.

What gets me are the people in this "city" who stare at you. What the fuck is up with that? Are our streets filled with the mentally ill on day passes? No, it just reinforces the provincial attitudes and ass backward, economical deprived personality of this place that can't get out of its own way. It's all tiresome as shit. —LetMeOutofTimeWarp
