Call it what you like, authentic or ethnic, but several restaurants in HRM claim to serve such food, whether it be Greek, Indian, Thai, or Middle Eastern, but they fail to mention that their menus are "westernized" to the North American palette. Do they seriously think we can't handle the real food? Do they assume that most people have not traveled to the countries they claim to be serving authentic recipes and food from? Some people travel extensively, and I can tell you a fair portion of these places in Halifax are NOT authentic. Give your chefs a few slaps upside the head and get them preparing what we expect. —CheckPlease
