What happened to composting and recycling in big apartment buildings? I grew up outside of HRM and am used to back yard composting, feeding the birds and honestly having little to no garbage because once it's sorted in its proper place garbage is minimal.
I'm aware I now don't live outside HRM and "backyard composting" in a big apartment building is not going to happen, but I have every bloody right to have my garbage sorted and disposed of the way it's supposed to be. Aren't there fines for garbage not being sorted properly? I know there is at work, why doesn't this apply to apartment buildings? It's disgusting seeing how much food goes to waste, maggoty and smelly all over the stuff that someone else has to sort. —Wants to compost
