Think before you Speak!

So I filled out the form and went to the office to renew the pass. Apparently there were a few things missing but luckily I did not have to redo the entire form.

However, I could not immediately think of the the month I moved into a friends place. I said "just give me a minute to look at my calendar on my phone." The associate/clerk made a remark (in a very serious & completely audible TO ALL tone)

"Well, Were You Homeless?". I was in shock! It was so inappropriate, condescending and unbelievable! I replied: WHAT!? Did you really say Homeless? HAH! Are you kidding me?. She became somewhat flustered and turned bright red.

That is all. —Hoping I am able to travel
