Slam Dunk Yr. Junk

Posted on Wed, Jul 7, 2010 at 10:32 AM

I walked outside to collect the green bin today, and noticed a sizable pile of compostable stuff on the street. I figured that a bit must have fallen out into the road in the course of its removal. Looking down the length of the street, though, I could see that every single house had a similar pile of fly-infested compost in front of it. It is a long, spotted trail of compost stretching as far as the eye can see. It's cooking in the sun, too.

This is disgusting. What the hell? —Crusty Old Man
