So I think I might be pregnant, but the home test said negative. So I go to my doctor to see what he can do for me. He had me in and out of his office in 2 minutes and sent me to the hospital for blood work to check if I was pregnant and said "See you when we get the results."

It's been almost a week and I haven't heard a word! I called my doctor and they said they haven't received the results yet! I called again a few days later and still nothing!

I asked if they could call me when they heard something and they said "No, we have too much paperwork. Just keep calling back." Have you ever heard the phrase "There's never enough time to do it right, but always enough time to do it twice"?

If you've got so much paperwork and you're soooo busy, and I keep calling you and talking to you for 5-10 minutes at a time... don't you think it would waste less of your time to call your patients back when results come in?

That's what my old doctor used to do. Plus isn't it pretty fucked up to wait this long to find out if I'm with child? If I am, I'm pretty sure I should be notified so I can move on to the next step... if I'm not then something is seriously wrong with me! —Patient without patience
