I can't believe what I witnessed the other night! My husband and I were going for a walk, and we noticed someone suspicious across the street from us up ahead. We heard a cat yowling in pain, and as we got closer we saw that this idiot was trying to walk his cat. The cat was cowering at his feet and not moving (maybe because cats aren't like dogs and don't like collars and leases?), but this man kept yanking on the leash trying to get it to move. Then he proceeded to lift the cat off the ground by the leash, CHOKING IT, and then SWINGING it farther down the road. Each time he did this the cat yowled in pain and looked even more terrified.
I was about to say something but my husband grabbed my arm and suggested I didn't, because this guy was pretty big and creepy, and all I could do was shoot him a dirty look.
You coward! You even stopped what you were doing because you know it was horrid when we walked closer to you. How dare you pick on a little cat that is only a fraction of your size? I just wanted to take that poor kitty from you so you couldn't do that to it anymore!Oh yeah, I know I'm a coward to for not saying something, and I feel terrible about it. But I don't really enjoy picking fights with strange men twice my size. —Cat Lover
