It's times like these that I'm really glad I'm moving to another country. It's the straw that broke this camel's back: Nova Scotia MLAs spending my money on meaningless shit that could have gone to much more important things (and that's something everyone can agree on). Every opinion I've had of the government in Canada is confirmed with reports like these.

Don't get me wrong, it's not only that. The list is long: prorogation in a crucial time, a war that shouldn't have even started (because wars rarely ever end), abysmal voter turnout for elections, a complete disregard for proper management of natural resources...I could go on all night.

I've lived in Nova Scotia my entire life, and now I'm getting out while the gettin's good. I feel like I'm 18 again, but really I'm 25. So instead of becoming yet another apathetic Canadian, I choose to take my business elsewhere. I'll always love this place, and I'll always consider myself as Canadian, but some people tend to ruin it for the rest of us.
