DEAR HALIFAX MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT,

PLEASE TAKE YOUR PARKING BAN AND SHOVE IT UP YOUR ASS. ALONG WITH ALL YOUR OTHER DIM-WIT RULES AND SORRY ATTEMPTS AT CITY IMPROVEMENT... OH...AND YOU MIGHT AS WELL PUT YOUR BAGPIPES UP THERE TOO.

This full-time Parking Ban is absolutely outrageous in this time of economic turmoil. This city is so ass-backwards with the way it runs its day to day operations and with the way it treats its citizens. $50 for parking on the street every night??!! Are you f*cking kidding me. Where are people supposed to put their cars? Up their asses? Halifax is a joke, always has been, and always will be with moves like this.

Again....WHERE ARE PEOPLE SUPPOSED TO PARK? The city's public transit system is a joke compared to most other large cities and it forces people to own cars because without a car you can't do anything in this city. Then you ticket hardworking people $50!!! $50! SERIOUSLY! For parking on the street even when it isn't snowing! ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE.

$50 if you don't move your car when there is a snowstorm fine...and then tow it and charge the person another $200 for not moving it... that is fair, but $50 when its 10 degrees outside just because you want to be pricks about the whole thing... well that is just... ya, A PRICK MOVE.

I will be moving away from Halifax as soon as possible. This parking ban bullsh*t is the last straw for me. Jobs for young professionals are scarce, the city does nothing to promote growth or progress. No tall buildings, no this, no that, no parking, no subway or skytrain system, no music outside, unfair tuition rates, and on and on. Halifax will be left to die with its old, feeble, pathetic population because that will be all that is left in a few years. I can guarantee you that almost all the young, vibrant people will have moved to cities where living is the priority instead of ridiculous rules, half-wit infrastructure planning, and a clue-less municipal government. And then they wonder why the downtown is dying.

By the time all you people who run this city get your heads out of your asses we will all be gone. No Parking on the street ALL WINTER!!?? NO PROBLEM, SEE YOU LATER, I'M MOVING TO MONTREAL THANKS, OR EUROPE, OR NEW YORK, OR ANYWHERE THAT PUTS PEOPLE FIRST. BECAUSE HALIFAX OBVIOUSLY DOESN'T.
