Greetings & Cellutations

Posted on Wed, Sep 9, 2009 at 3:58 PM

It annoys me to find people answering their cell phones when being served in public areas, such as gas stations, restaurants, shopping centers, etc. Is the call really that important that you have to literally ignore the person taking care of you? How about tossing your money at them while you ramble on about how that next hair appointment is just ‘so’ important.

We don’t talk on the phone when we’re dealing with you, show us some respect and mute your phone, wait till later, or even keep the phone off. It’s rude, ignorant, and it makes you look like a tool. You should thank us for having the patience to serve you when we’re obviously nonexistent outside the speaker of your cell.

I hope all of you read this and realize I’m not the only one who thinks this way, and maybe, maybe next time you’ll pretend we’re living and breathing too.

-Just someone like you
