I went to the grocery store on Saturday, and they were out of eggs and bread. Out of eggs and bread! How does a grocery store run out of eggs and bread? This is not the first time this store has been out of something, not by a long stretch. They are always out of something, but this was the first time they've been out of something as basic as eggs and bread. This is a large store that is part of a massive chain of stores. I can't see how they can have this constant supply problem. Then my paranoia kicked in, and I started wondering, are they doing this on purpose? Are they trying to create a fear shortages in the consumer? Are they trying to make us think that we better just buy the product we need no matter what the price, because there might not be any tomorrow?

I almost always shop at the same store, so I don't know if this is happening at other stores too. Am I a loony, or am I onto something?
