Published December 17, 2008.Desperate Measures? Ok

Reading the CH this morning avoiding work the front page caught my eye. A poor lobster fisherman has had to cut out the middleman because he wasn't making enough money to pay his bills. What I also noticed was the fairly new 4 door, four wheel pick up truck he was driving. These guys have been making a killing for so long squeezing every penny they can out of the average joe who just wanted a plate of lobster now and then. Did they forget to put a little cash away for a rainy day like everyone else was taught to do or were they living above their means buying expensive trucks and all the toys that you or me couldn't afford unless we were selling lobster? Until I see them pulling up in a vehicle worth less then $40,000 I'm not going to feel to bad for them.
