I just recently lost a parent and have not felt very festive. I decided yesterday that I was going to join the world of the living and go mingle with other people that are preparing for the holidays. I really don't know what I was expecting, but what I got was a bunch of cranky assed people that were cutting people off in traffic as well as when they were inside the stores. What got me was the expressions on these peoples faces. It made me sad to think that these people were so stressed and angry trying to prepare for a season that is supposed to be filled with happiness. Just a reminder to not stress the little things and be thankful for the people in your life while they are here. It is much more important than what you put under the tree.
