Published December 15, 2008.'tis the fucking season

Now, first of all, I am down with the Holidays. Christmas, Easter, St. Valentine's Day New Years...etc. (I am known to spend hundreds of dollars on fireworks for the New Year and Canada Day.) But why the fuck do I have to GIVE anything other than good wishes or what not? 'You should help those less fourtunate.'

Just because I have a fulltime job, and have a car and a home does NOT mean I do not struggle every damn day to keep these things. I have debt out the wazoo!!! Why should I be made to feel as if I have to go out at Christmas time and spend what little bit I've managed to save this year, on usless CRAP from fucking China????(the way things are going...) Enlighten me PLEASE!!! I send out Christmas cards to everyone important to me, or just to let certain others know that I am thinking of them through the holidays. So what, now we're buying each others love, affection and friendships??? Wtf happened anyway? What I do to help those less fortunate, I go to work everyday and I pay my taxes in hopes the government will do their job and take care of the people. I try treat all people with dignity and respect, regardless of their situation, or what they may look like on the outside. And I do it EVERY day of the year. So don't you DARE try to make me feel guilty or whatever, just because I choose not to fall victim to the commercialism of Christmas and other holidays...(Easter's a good one too.) I feel sorry for you people who feel you have to buy your friends and family, and especially sorry for those who feel they need to be bought. You fucking suck and you ruin Christmas and everyother Holiday.
