To all waiters complaining about tips:
|
I don't think you realize how good you have it. If you are a waiter working in a nicer restaurant (by that I mean something other than Pizza Delight) and you think you have a rough time when you have to tip out, let me introduce you to the cook's side of the story.
We work for wages usually much lower than what you get, in blistering hot temperatures, for ridiculously long hours, in the high stress situation of producing good quality food in a short period of time, but do we get tipped? No, we get a small percentage of whatever you guys were tipped (hence the tipping out) for doing a hell of a lot more work than you. And do we usually complain? No. So, stop feeling entitled to tips for performing the simple task of taking orders and carrying food to customers.
