I was driving with my girlfriend over the weekend, going back to the city from Tantallon. Halfway between Sobeys and Superstore towards the end of Hammonds plains road, there was a police check with 3 morons checking license plates and inspection.

One was at the front of the line, one in the center and the other was at the back checking the oncoming traffic. 2 were tasked to check the traffic heading in our direction.

There was a car ahead of me. They asked us to advance. So I slowly advanced, with one of the officers shining his flashlight in my eyes, and signaling something that i couldn't make out due to his intelligence. I thought he was signaling me to advance to his location so he can check my inspection since the officer ahead of him was checking the car ahead of me.

I figured they were trying to be efficient. Well I thought wrong. How many officers does it take to check an inspection on a car, 3 they say:).

I get to the officer and he's screaming.. STOP STOP STOP STOP. I was rolling mind you, I was like, what the, I could still see the tires of the car ahead of me when I stopped. The officer sounded like he was talking to someone in Afghanistan, you know when they signal a car to stop and it doesn't so they shoot the driver.

Anyway the officer came towards me after him and his 2 other partners took their time in checking the car ahead, and said: "Where do you think you're going, do you think you're going to go through the car in front?". So I replied: "I stopped didn't I" with the same tone he took with me. Then he proceeds to ask me for my drivers license.

Of course I refused. He had no reason to see it, he can't force me to show it to him, and I knew he was just abusing his power and being a typical idiot! He was shocked none the less, he was like, what? as if to say, how dare you, I was like you heard me, you have no reason to see it unless you check the license of the next 3 cars. He asked me to pull over, and before I did, I asked the other 2 office to come with us so we can have witnesses aside from my gf, one of them replied, well he's my supervisor, I replied, do I look like I care who he is to you?! I pulled over, didn't turn the car off, left everything in place, he asked for my license again, so I refused again and asked him to explain to me and give me a good reason why he wants to see it. He did, so I took it out of my wallet, he went to grab it and I stopped him, saying that he only asked to see it, he can see it without touching it. The best thing the idiot could come up with was: "Is that you're real legal signature?" Are you fucking serious!!! It's bad enough you were called out on everything you just did in front of your colleagues, and in front of all the cars that were waiting in-line to go through your lazy asses, and the best that you could come up with was that question? How pathetic and embarrassing. That's Policing in NS
