A couple of weeks ago I posted a bitch about being at a wedding being targeted by the RCMP for seatbelt violations. I was pretty pissed off and well........ fuck it, I'm still furious over it, but life goes on I guess.

I was reading the paper today and happened to notice a story coming from Bridgewater that on the very same night of the wedding that a house was completely ransacked causing thousands in damage and that the police are hoping that the public will come through with some tips to help solve the crime as they don't have much information.

Why don't they have much information????

( ooh ooh ooh ooh raising my hand....pick me, pick me)

Maybe it's because there were no less than four cruisers and 7 officers doing a shakedown of slow moving, seatbelt violating old people and do-gooders. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm no fucking math wiz or anything but I've got to believe that that would be a pretty big percentage of on-duty officers all clusterfucked into one very small area, just around the corner from the station, literally.

It would seem to me that the town puts more importance on the bottom line than the actual town itself and its people.

I don't know if it will do any good but I plan on going to my court date, knowing full well that I will have to pay the fine but I would like the ofiicers arrogance and "who are you fucking talking to" attitude as well as the waste of money (or was it) that happened that night to be part of public record just in case there are similar reports already on record.

Has anyone else come across a situation like this one to offer advice when in court? Thanks

Vindicated????? Probably not!
