We decided that instead of a crazy drunken night downtown at the sketchy shithole bars that this place has, that we would check out the New Freemans Little New York on Argyle street. Looked like a clean place, the staff were curteous, not a huge crowd, we could enjoy our few beer and hear ourselves speak and think...

We just came from dinner at another resturant yet when we arrived, sat and placed our order for three beer, we were told that your resturants "liquor license expired four days ago" and that the only way we could order booze was if it was with food. What a crock of shit. We paid 13 dollars for the tiniest plate of nachos ever jsut to buy our beer. Yes we could have upped and left, but where else is there to go for a few drinks on a staturday night downtown thats not a drunken frat party?

The real kickintheballs was that after we got our order in and picked at the nachos, some guys came in and sat at the bar and orderd foodless drinks....how frigging convenient.

Freemans was never on my top 10 list but it was always fun to hang out in form time to time, and the rejuveniated downtown location made that even more attractive.. but now that we got ripped off and told some bullshit liquor license story jsut to get us to buy your half assed nachos, we won'tbe going back.

Suck it freemans...
