I have been listening with half hearted anger to the talk of fast ferry service to bedford, thinking, there is no way the public would fall for it, or allow it to happen.

But lo and behold the city council has voted to dole out tax payer money on it.

This will do nothing for our traffic problems where they are at their worst, it won't take any burden off the bridges, through clayton park and elsewhere, all this will accomplish is to further raise the standard of living in the area of the city where it is highest already, this is a thought out a plan as the new rapid transit buses that pass me empty everyday, but still tool around burning fuel.

We Need more buses, we need them to run more frequently, later and for Gods sake can we finally clue in and scrap the weekend schedules, it is out of date now that we are 'blessed' with sunday shopping.

What we don't need is anymore badly needed tax payer dollars poured into improving the infrastructur of or wealthiest community and the Mayors home town.
