I am sick and tired of minor hockey "clicks" and all the crap that goes with it...kids are put in the best positions because of who the coach likes and/or whose parents the coach owes. My child is fantastic but is left behind because we are not in the click nor do we kiss ass like other parents do....what ever happened to getting ahead on talent? NOT IN MINOR HOCKEY...if your dad is the coach, then you are the captain of the team regardless of whether or not you can skate or are a team player....WHAT KIND OF WORLD ARE WE LIVING IN HERE!!! You can fund raise til the cows come home, volunteer your butt off and make every practice AND even if your child stands out but is not liked by the coach you are done!!! It is total bullshit...there are fabulous minor coaches don't get me wrong and I appreciate those who volunteer but give credit where credit is due..
