Please stop being ignorant about music and musicians. If you don't enjoy other types of music, including that which influences the music you're probably playing, that's fine. If you don't want to learn more than 2 chords, hold a steady pitch, or play drums better than a 4 year old, that's also fine. But if you choose either of these options, than you have no right to criticize or badmouth music that you consider to be "bad" or not "real music," as well as musicians who, unlike you have chosen to better themselves as players and better themselves in their knowledge about music. You've opted to be the musical equivalent of a brick. Well done. If you want to prove me wrong, go get an album from any of these sections at your local music store and learn the history behind the music, you may like it: (In no particular order) Baroque, Salsa, Flamenco, Romantic (classical), Bulgarian Dance, Jazz (Bebop or Big Band), Atonal, Samba. This is only a tiny fraction of the world of music, and it is easily accessible. Ignorance stems from an unwillingness to learn or better oneself, please stop spreading ignorance.
