WTF is going on lately downtown? It wasn't that long ago that I was regularly hitting bars on Argyle, etc and outside fo a few pretty minor scuffles and a few isolated fights, it was pretty tame but fun. Now the city seems to be experiencing a rash of knifings, swarmings, and loads of violent crime that seems to be basically random.

Can someone explain what is going on? Is it gangs? Lack of police? What?

Cause it's stupid and it's got to stop.
