To the person who dumped leftover turkey in my garbage can on Vernon on Monday night: I have left the lid off my garbage can on Vernon for as long as I have lived here. It is typically filled by coffee cups, dog litter etc, and as a family of four, we still only put out one garbage can. The can is not there for you to dump the leftovers from your Thanksgiving dinner, complete with roasting pan. Next time you cook turkey dinner, use your own green bin and garbage can.
