I can hear IT, but no one can hear ME

Since it seems no one in the Halifax bar scene understands acoustics or soundboards... maybe I can get through to someone this way. Volume (and bass) doesn't have to be maxed for music to sound good. If it does, the music sucks anyway. And if your acoustics are crap, get more speakers and place them appropriately to offset the echoes caused by the blasting ballast. There are plenty of hours in the day for trial and error to get positioning just right. I am sick of being deafened because I want to spend time with friends. If you need a hand, I don't charge much. For some places, I'll even work for free. I'm looking at you, "insert live venue name here"...
