To the young guy on the Rt. 1 bus on the evening of Saturday 27th Oct talking to the guy from East Africa; why did you feel the need to speak so slowly - and worse, LOUDLY to the poor guy the whole time. His admirable command of the English language was quite apparent and his soft spoken answers were quite easy to hear (so don't go saying the bus was loud or whatnot). From your conversation, I gathered you've travelled over there; surely that was an eye opening experience. Maybe some little part of you unfortunately still sees him as a dumb foreigner, or maybe you just wanted EVERYONE in a 25ft radius to know you've been to Africa (!). No wonder you're GF looked so uncomfortable.
