I can’t sleep. I’ve never slept well. When I do sleep the whole night through, it’s practically a celebration the next day when I don’t need a pulley system to get out of bed. However, when someone drives by at 2am, honking goodbye to whomever they were visiting, sleeping through the night is no longer an option. To the driver that felt the need to wake the insomniac—and I’m sure many other apartment dwellers—this past weekday night, please follow the Queen’s example and simply adopt a wave.
