Up and at them

Upfront round-up

Posted on Thu, May 17, 2007 at 12:08 PM

Some good news coming out of the upfronts this week. Private Practice, the Kate Walsh/Grey's Anatomy spin-off, has gotten a green light. All the Law and Orders, Friday Night Lights and sleeper comedy Notes from the Underbelly (Jennifer Westfeldt! Love!) are coming back. Someone has seen fit to give the fab Judy Greer her own series, called Miss/Guided. And, most awesomely, Amy Sherman-Palladino -- the Gilmore Girls creator/saboteur -- will launch her Parker Posey topliner, The Return of Jezebel James, midseason on Fox in 2008. Looking forward to September already.
