Wet Denim was brought together by love. Love of music, love of cheekiness, love of Halifax. It is influenced by "the magic that is being in a room, playing music together," says Eleanor King. King, Leigh Dotey, Jess Lewis and Victoria Parker have yet to record any material, but estimate about an album's worth. "I think because we're also collectively motivated and inspired by the band," says King. A lack of recorded material (that'll come in the fall, after another live show in August) leaves one wondering what the band sounds like. "Is the name Wet Denim not enough?" jokes Eleanor King. "We think it's sincere, between the sheets, pop."
