I am announcing that I am dropping out of the race for HRM Mayor and supporting the candidacy of Mike Savage.
I entered this race because I believe I have good ideas for the city accompanied by a strong skill set and I also didn't want to see a coronation.
Given that the campaign is essentially just commencing, I have recently met with Mr. Savage and we had a discussion around his ideas and vision for the city including how much of an effort he has put into reaching out to people throughout HRM.
After mulling things over I have decided to support his candidacy as his political experience and skills will be an asset in the Mayor’s position.
I would like to thank those who have volunteered and offered support to me.
