The worst part about that walk was you were alone, because no one else was brave enough to walk outside as well. The more people there are on the streets, the less crime there is. Well populated, dense neighbourhoods where people are active are great places to be.

OP here... agree with the don't mock skinny women either - size is irrelevant. Just tired of hearing women get put down all the time for their appearance.
Is the amount really pertinent? He didn't push his campaign into debt to do it, it was the replacement value of his salary (not more than) and I'll go out on a limb and say he worked double the hours during his campaign. Not to mention, his campaign finance person/people approved it. It wasn't just a hand dipping in a cookie jar.
I'm still pissed he didn't disclose this when asked, but the amount really doesn't matter in the big scheme of things.
recycling plastic isn't about saving energy its about leaving room on the planet for us to live. It doesn't breakdown on its own, so the only thing to do with it is recycle it into something else and make less plastic to begin with.
While I'm sad to see EDAG close, this opens an opportunity to create a different model for a disordered eating/eating disorders advocacy and support group in Nova Scotia with a more sustainable funding model. Thank you to everyone who has been with EDAG over it's lifespan. You have made an incredible difference in the lives of many.
