Trade School Halifax: Herbal Medicine Making 101

Celebrate Health Sovereignty and learn to heal yourself with your very own medicine with teacher Megan Tardif-Woolgar. In this workshop you will explore different ways to make potent medicine from back yard weeds and wild-harvested medicinal plant allies. Explore ethical wild-harvesting techniques, drying and storage, and the various methods of medicinal plant preparation and delivery including teas, oils, and tinctures. This workshop will also feature a hands-on alcohol-based tincture-making demonstration! Trade School Halifax is a bartering system, bring one of the following: large glass bottles with sealable tops (like beer bottles or jars, they must come with tops though).
