One of the lead actors in this TV series once punched me in the face during a biology class. (I won't say which one, but you know who you are!) That being said, Space's Todd and the Book of Pure Evil is a pretty hilarious horror-comedy that mixes Kevin Smith-inspired dialogue (hey, Jason Mewes is in this show too), with the versatile storytelling of Joss Whedon's Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The show tells the story of Todd Smith, an awkward, horny metalhead who discovers a cursed book that unleashes hell on the students and teachers of Crowley High. Season two has the program hitting its stride, with tighter writing and looser jokes. It seems like the creators of this show always aimed for a cult following, and they've succeeded. This is the best Canadian show you're not watching.
