The Monkey's Paw Curio Shop

A fun and funky emporium is open at the Harbourview Weekend Market in Dartmouth---9am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday---called The Monkey’s Paw Curio Shop. “We are the smallest antique shop ever to open in the HRM,” explains co-owner Bob Chiasson. “With a floor space of 6' by 16' we’re more of an antique walk-in closet, but don't let that discourage you. We’ve still managed to stock hundreds of really cool items and everything is within easy reach.” Items, updated weekly, include the odd, super-weird and downright bizarre. “If you’re looking for a movie card from the 1960s of masked Mexican wrestlers fighting zombies, we've got it,” says Chiasson. “And yes we've even got a 19th century sideshow desiccated monkey paw.”
