Rakish punks veer from masterful shredding to total sloppiness, just like Halifax.

There's a video on The I don't give a rips' website (idontgivearips.tumblr.com) that tells you pretty much everything you need to know about these rakish punkers. Filmed in a Truro elementary school, lit by Christmas lights, the foursome smash out a bunch of pissy, fitful jams in shadow. There's moments of masterful shredding and moments of total fucking sloppiness and when you watch the video, with its bad lighting and vaguely filthy aura, it feels a bit like being in a dirty, murky trough. The next phase for these raw dogs is unclear. Guitarist Brendan Neima says a release on Sewercide is on the horizon. "Then, the future is blank," he says.
