Comedy Night DJ/Dancefloor Live Music
The Seahorse's long wood tables have packed them in since 1948. Best known as a live music venue, the stage walls stained with the sweat of various punk, indie and metal bands, it also offers a renovated back room suitable for private parties, a full menu, a staircase leading upstairs to the Economy Shoe Shop and an emphasis on jazz, singer-songwriter and other quieter music genres.

This was an awesome show!! Best night I've had out dancing in a long time :) Did a great job covering Daft Punk. Band has lots of character and talent. The crowd in the Seahorse was awesome too!

Why: Winner of each preliminary battle advance to final in Yarmouth Nov 6 to play for Kevin Lyman, creator of the Vans Warped Tour. Kevin will pick 1 winner to play 4 dates on the 2010 Vans Warped Tour.
Price: Free
Battles take place September 1, 8, 15, and 22 at the Seahorse and on September 17 at The Pit in Sydney.

Great show guys! Haven't seen Boxer the Horse since Peel Pub like 2 years ago; you guys have come a long way, and put on a great show!
The Seahorse is a fantastic venue ! I love the old old old carved tables that have so much character... as well as their off-to-the-side lounge room. It always feels as if I have slinked off to a secret underground land when I am there. You can count on great shows at the Seahorse... and you can drink Propeller's HORSE POWER beer (: Delicious.
