What’s wrong? Peace Pavilion is locked.
Who’s responsible? Peter Verge, HRM manager of operations, 490-4673.
Remarks: The Peace Pavilion is a nice, er, peaceful refuge on the Dartmouth Waterfront, but like the Public Gardens across the harbour, it has yet to be opened for the season. We’re not sure why the pavilion has to be locked through the winter in the first place---there are no ducks to disturb. Regardless, our spring weather is coming earlier--- see the news story above---but city work schedules haven’t shifted in response. Verge says the Pavilion usually opens in May, but he’s trying to find out who’s responsible and get it open sooner.
