Reaching the end of its fourth year now, the NSCC Music Arts program is holding their Spring Music Festival during the month of May. There will be five main shows featuring nine different bands headlining. The bands are Celtic folk-rockers The Whiskey Shots, the Latin/R&B group Groovera!, jazz-fusion band Flat (10), DEFUNK'T, "a fresh, fun and fiery funk fusion group," nine-man jazz band Pleasant Street Gang, the always-original songwriter ensemble Fort Needham, alternative-rock band Black Exhibition, and the description-escaping Mr. Cozy Bear. Local acts will also be performing, providing a fun-filled month of local music! Not only that, but on Mondays, the Company House is hosting NSCC singer-songwriter series, where NSCC musicians show off their talent. NSCC is also having shows on the Seaport Farmers' Market May 8, 14, 21 and 22.

Saturday May 7 - Thursday May 26, various venues and times (see listings)
