Very good, food I must say. Great dragon roll, but nothing else is particularly spectacular over places like Hamachi House. I've never been wow'd by their service, and actually, recently their service was terrible.
Without a reservation, a group of us went into the restaurant, had a small dinner which we shared, and it was not too too close to closing time, but close enough that once we were served, the waitress told us we had one more chance to order food. After we were done, we were given our bill, and once we had worked out how we were going to pay, we were notified of a $10 additional charge on top of our bill.
I know not of ANY restaurants which practice this:
a. Not telling about the additional fee
b. charge a fee for bringing in more people (people who have never tried sushi, and happened to like it and now will never go back because of poor service)
c. and not be willing to take responsibility for not notifying the guests about THEIR mistake for not telling about everything we were going to be paying.
And the other workers there were very rude and very unforgiving. Horrible place to go for service. There are plenty of other fine sushi restaurants:
a. Hamachi House
b. Dharma Sushi on Argyle
c. Sushi Nami Royale
Just to name a few.
