Milk Moustache

A solo project expands in eclectic, witty ways.

Milk Moustache started out as KT Lamond's solo project that expanded with the addition of Kirk Schnare, Rebecca O'Quinn and Chris Wilson. The new team makes for an eclectic sound including "a few heavy tunes, some slow melodic songs, a few instrumentals---even a funk song," says Lamond. "I'm really influenced by punny, witty musicans like Dan Mangan and John K. Sampson." If you have a love of diverse pop, wit and can play the fiddle, you might be recruited. Writing, recording, finding a fiddle player and orchestrating fun, relaxing trips around the Maritimes are next on the bill for the band.

Oh my gosh! What cuties! Softly cradle these newborn bands and treasure every minute. Sure, they’ll keep you up at night with their wailing, but watching those first steps are just so precious. comments      2
