We've been to Mezza easily over two dozen times. We bring visitors there and recommend it to all our friends. Every visit we've had great service and incredible portions of fresh, well prepared food. If I could make only one small comment it would be that it can be a tad under lit. There's no overhead lighting to speak of and older friends we've brought have found hard to read the menu. But fear not, the eye strain is always rewarded.
Wow! what an orgy of tastes and all the tastes are doms. if that makes sense. the service was awesome - waitress was very knowledgeable and made excellent wine and food suggestions. we will definitely be back! I absolutely recommend!
Went here for a special occasion, and it was awesome. I went there just after it opened. The food is wonderful, and their selection is amazing. The staff were friendly, and explained dishes really well. Nice layout, very clean and welcoming. The parking, or lack thereof, kinda sucks for those with cars, but I'm a walker.
I like the food, and the service was exceptional on both of my visits - despite it being very busy both times.
One disappointment comes in that all the entrees seem to be the same: pick your meat and have it with the veggies, type of potato, and a side dip. It's a bit formulaic, and compared to other restaurants in the city it's overpriced.
Maybe I'm spoiled for Mediterranean food in this town- I would go back if friends wanted to, but it wouldn't be my first choice.
Visited with a large group Oct. 2009. Service was friendly but irregular and there were VERY long delays between getting the menus, being able to order and geetting our food. Plus, after getting one order wrong (entree instead of a mezzet) and being told it would be deducted, was still charged for their mistake. Food however was very good and the portions were fairly large, though pricey.
