Letters to the Editor 

On my friends 25th birthday, she chose Trapeze for dinner. Because there were 11 people coming, she made a reservation for 8:30. When we arrived we were told that it would be about 15 minutes longer. This seems strange for a reserved table, but we were able to overlook it. However when we actually sat down 40 minutes later it turned out to be the beginning of a night of bad service. After ordering a large round of drinks from the extensive drink menu, we were told that the bar tender was going to hate us because he/she hates making the elaborate mixed drinks. When we finally were given baskets of bread the butter arrived frozen, and before it had time to thaw our meals had arrived. Later we were told by our server that she had to deal with unhappy customers who had yelled at their server, well I can't say I'm surprised! While our food was good and the drinks were a hit, none of us were happy with the service, and it may very well be the last time any of us go to Trapeze. So perhaps Liz Feltham could give it a try and see if the service is always this poor or if they were just having a bad night. But until then I know of 11 people who will be telling of their bad experience with Trapeze.
