Nintendo’s eShop, on its 3DS platform, is probably one of the best examples of how to run a digital download store. One of the best games available there is Let’s Golf 3D. Using simple, but fun controls you command a variety of upgradable characters while golfing through unique courses from England to ancient Greece. Sometimes the courses can be frustrating, like when a giant Mayan temple blocks your way to the hole, but the fun is hard to deny. The 3D effect is primarily aesthetic and doesn’t add much. It certainly won’t help your swing. The game features a long career mode, single system multi-player and a challenge mode to keep you going. The un-lockable achievements are also hard to ignore. With the 3DS lineup being a little lacklustre for now, this easy-to-play golf sim will keep you occupied until the busy holiday season.
