Both are songwriters in their own light. Having met via MySpace, Chelsea chased Heather to Los Angeles where the two of them cultivated their craft and said their vows. Due to Proposition 8 they had to head back to Halifax this past year and rediscover Chelsea’s roots.
“We’ve been playing as a couple since arriving in Halifax, and it seems to be that aspect in itself that has become an attraction for listeners,” says Heather.
While pursuing their individual songwriting careers, they’re testing the waters on a new project, Dəero. “Heather has been really inspiring from the get go with her choices of melodies and rhythm,” says Chelsea. “I admire her music a lot. The style that she brings to the table feels really natural for me to work with and fit into.”
