1 Ace Burger Co.
The no-frills but incredibly charming Ace has quickly become a north end institution with its small-but-mighty burger menu. During Burger Week, you should probably double-fist its Deluxe Burger (these babies are only $5), which loads a grass-fed Getaway patty with Brothers back bacon, cheddar, frizzled onions and dijonnaise.
2605 Agricola Street (inside Gus' Pub), 406-8050
2 Armview Restaurant
Do the time warp by spending the evening at throwback diner the Armview while sucking back one of its famed milkshakes and chowing down on this burger. The Armview's Classic Burger is a grilled, house-made patty, complemented---but not overwhelmed ---by sauteed onions, mustard and ketchup and a sesame seed bun.

3 Bearly's House of Blues, Burgers and Ribs
The blues aren't the only thing we can thank the southern states for, they don't mess around when it comes to food either. Bearly's Texas Burger (also our cover model) tops its beef with real cheddar, crispy onion rings and then heats things up with tex-mex salsa and some jalapeños. Add a side of fries and some karaoke for dessert and we'd say Bearly's is on fire.
1269 Barrington Street, 423-2526
4 The Chickenburger
For over 70 years The Chickenburger has been knocking it out of the park with its down-home diner vibe. But it isn't just its namesake chickenburgers that its known for, they know how a hamburger's done too. This fresh, old-fashioned cheeseburger keeps it basic, on a steamed bun, and wins our heart by TRIPLING the meat. A triple burger for $5? Sold.

5 Darrell's Restaurant
Famous for its peanut butter burgers, Darrell's has many more tasty hamburger tricks up its sleeves. Now that's gourmet.
