A food co-op with a large selection of local organic grocery items, it’s one of the few places in Halifax to find organic grains from the highly regarded Speerville Mill in New Brunswick. It is open to both members and non-members: Members are required to work a minimum of six hours a month at the store and will receive a 15 percent discount on purchases. There are plenty of food related special events to enjoy including Saturday afternoon workshops.
